Our Service

Upon Implementation clients will be required to contact the Marine Asset Management (MAM) office either by phone or through the Internet web site prior to the return of the equipment.

Upon contact, the system or the MAM operator will request the specific information needed to identify the unit and the return date for the container.

The system will proceed to perform the necessary calculations against the determined free time expiration date based on vessel discharge and carrier’s applicable tariff terms and conditions.

For equipment returning to the terminal within the free time granted the system or the MAM operator will provide the client with an “Equipment Return Ballot” that will grant access to the terminal and will be valid until the free time expiration date established. The ballot must be presented to the terminal’s security officer before accessing the terminal. Once inside the client will proceed with the routine return process.

Clients returning equipment to the terminal after the expiration of the granted free time will be required to submit the payment through the web based application or at the MAM office located at the terminal’s main gate.
Once completed the payment process the system or the MAM operator will generate an “Equipment Return Ballot” that will be valid until the gate closing hour on that same day. This ballot must be presented to the terminal’s security officer before accessing the terminal to complete the return process.

It is the client’s responsibility to verify with the Receiving and Dispatch office for the gate operation hours.

The carrier and terminal reserves the right to accept and receive equipment with due detention charges.
